How we work
A straightforward field process
Most general contractors come to us with site plans and BMP requirements already included in their project drawings. From there, National Erosion Control helps put those controls in the ground, maintain them, and support the SWPPP documentation process. For small-site SWPPP permits, we can prepare the permit and help the contractor get started with the required compliance pieces.

We review the contractor’s plans, BMP requirements, site conditions, and project needs so the right controls are installed where they belong.
Permit & SWPPP Support
For small-site SWPPP needs, we can prepare the permit for the contractor to file. For larger sites, engineered plans typically guide the BMP layout, and we support the compliance process as needed.
Install the Controls
Our crews install silt fence, inlet protection, matting, wattles, check dams, and other BMPs according to the site plans and project requirements.
Inspect, Maintain & Document
When hired for inspections, we perform monthly and post-rain SWPPP inspections, document the condition of BMPs, and provide maintenance or repair as needed.
